Mapping Knossos, 2007

Slade School of Fine Art, artist in residence, Slade Summer School, UCL, London
Mapping Knossos is a studio experimentation during my residency at the Slade Summer School. It is about my research on the relations between linear and non-linear contemporary labyrinths through jorge luis borges' writings. Tthe boxes contain actual size cut outs of a particular temple/space in Knossos, Crete. I am interested of the notion of memory labyrinths in relation with hidden passes and openings, the things that we reveal and keep hidden from our present life.
